Operating is typically limited to loading raw stock and pressing cycle start. This course teaches how to read 3D engineering models, calculate feeds and speeds, select cutting tools, create fixture setups, generate automated toolpaths, and write the machine code that commands the CNC.

Graduates can apply for positions such as CAD Design Engineer, Junior Mechanical Drafter, CNC/VMC CAM Programmer, Tool & Die Design Trainee, Production Planning Engineer, and Reverse Engineering Technician.
